Here and Now

Here and Now

There was oh so pretty.

Then was lots of fun.

The grass was always greener

In the warm embrace of sun.

Next is up before me,

Coming oh so fast.

Will be looms up darkly;

The good times gone so fast.

Yet now the sun shines brightly.

Here my grass is green.

Is is where I am now,

My present: I live the scene.

Just how in the world am I going to live up to being the big sister of someone who wrote such a special poem? I just love it.

Thanks, big sis. It’s just what I do instead of sleeping. And you have always been the one who has inspired me to write.
